What are braces?
Braces are orthodontic devices designed to correct misaligned teeth and jaws. They consist of brackets bonded to your teeth, connected by wires and tiny rubber bands. Over time, braces gently move your teeth into the desired position, giving you a straighter, healthier smile.
How do braces work?
Braces apply continuous pressure over a period of time to slowly move teeth in a specific direction. The brackets and wires work together to adjust the alignment of your teeth. Every 4-6 weeks, you'll visit our office for adjustments, ensuring your treatment progresses as planned.

Avoid hard, sticky, and sugary foods that can damage your braces. Opt for softer foods like yogurt, pasta, and steamed vegetables. Cut fruits and crunchy vegetables into smaller pieces.
Comfort
It’s normal to feel some discomfort after getting braces or following adjustments. Over-the-counter pain relief and orthodontic wax can help alleviate soreness and irritation.

How long will I need to wear braces?

Are braces painful?
